IMPLEMENTS OF FIRE

A simple firewood holder and blow poker set are designed to create and maintain a minimal fireplace setting. As the name implies, the blow poke can be used to reposition and stoke the fire as well as to breathe life back into the fire. A strong continuous blow through the antimicrobial brass mouthpiece delivers a forced steam of oxygen directly to where it is needed to best fuel the fire. Edition of 12.

Implements of Fire is a Limited Edition work designed and produced by Fort Standard’s designer Gregory Buntain. These limited works provide a more focused avenue for exploration allowing a deeper dive into personal interests without the broader constraints of standard furnishings. While maintaining a functional use within the context of the home, these works often push natural materials and processes outside of their normal context and beyond conventional use.
