STACKED LEATHER CHAIR

A proprietary process is used to create rigid leather components by laminating multiple layers of vegetable tanned leather. Panels and tubes are formed, cut and assembled to create the first ever entirely leather freestanding chair design.

The Stacked Leather Chair is a Limited Edition work designed and produced by Fort Standard’s designer Gregory Buntain. These limited works provide a more focused avenue for exploration allowing a deeper dive into personal interests without the broader constraints of standard furnishings. While maintaining a functional use within the context of the home, these works often push natural materials and processes outside of their normal context and beyond conventional use.
